Once the season is over, we encourage you to re-plant your succulents into a more seasonally appropriate container - the choice is yours! We create the planter on top of the pumpkin by using preserved moss and soil. Join us this October for an opportunity to create a living succulent arrangement on top of a REAL heirloom pumpkin! These special pumpkin planters make the perfect fall centerpiece and will last well past Thanksgiving since we preserve the pumpkin longer by not cutting into their core. Pumpkin season is finally here and we are ready to bring you some amazing new seasonal workshops!! Durocher, who is a trained composer and has been commissioned to write for symphonies and chamber groups, has guitar chops that can soothe or rage, with a charismatic swagger as frontman and singer.

The Get Right Band formed in 2011, built around the musical brotherhood that guitarist/singer/songwriter Silas Durocher and bassist Jesse Gentry have formed playing music together since middle school (25 years!). American Songwriter writes that the Asheville, NC based group, “filters 60’s/70’s psychedelia and 90’s alternative rock through a modern lens–as if Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana co-wrote an album produced by Danger Mouse and Dan Auerbach.” The Get Right Band is a psychedelic indie rock band committed to relentlessly following their muses to honest self-expression, to whatever excites them and pushes them into unexplored territory, to capturing some version of truth. We had such a blast playing New Belgium for AVLFest, so we decided we had to come back ASAP! We'll see you there on 9/22 for a free, all ages show! Lyrical content spans a wide spectrum with emotional states ranging from sweet infatuation to righteous anger regarding topics spanning from entomological curiosity to suspicions of an impending apocalypse. Sister Ivy fuses Neo-soul, Jazz, R&B, and Rock elements to carry poetic musings to the listener’s ear on a groove-able sonic vehicle with influences spanning from Erykah Badu and Hiatus Kaiyote to Radiohead and Pink Floyd. A quizzical poet with a voice brimming with turbulent emotion and heartfelt presence, she moves to join the juxtaposed, not only lyrically, but musically, with careful dissonance and timely resolve, blending the mundane with the magical, providing unexpected nourishment and plenty of food for thought.
